Hawkers fall prey to brazen break-ins.

1a) Why is it easy for burglers to break into stalls at the two markets in the Kallang area?

Answer: The stalls at the two markets are easily broke into as the units top covering is exposed. It give Buglers a chance to commit a crime. The source of the problem is that stall owners tend to leave their valuables in their stalls thinking that i would be safe. A stall owner Mdm chen who was interviewed said that she had installed metal bar which connects to the front. But sadly the bugler managed to broke in by just tying a broom and raffia string to a basket and then sweeping the valuables into the basket.

b) What is the Geylang East Central Merchants' Association going to do about the break-ins?

Answer: A meeting was held to discuss on how to deal with such crimes. The relevant authorities such as the NEA Town council are looking into the design layout of the stalls and modifying it to be flawless additional features such as metal grills are also installed within the height requirement.

2. What do you think should be done to tighten the security of the markets? What do you think of the burglars who brazenly break into the stalls?

Answer: I think that the stall owners should have installed shutters on top and infront of their stalls. On the other hand they should have kept their valuables with them and not leaving them behind at their stalls, this would give the buglers a chance to commit a crime. They might think its ok since the crime rate is low but they must always bare in mind that low crime doesn't mean no crime. I think that the buglers are heartless to steal from stall owners , its their hard earned up keep. And the buglers are not crippled why not they get a job and feed themselves to show that they are capable of that if not they are just worthless scums. Lowly buglers who steals from aged uncle and aunties who work day and night sweating just to earn some up keep.

1a) What are the 2 worrying trends about drug trafficking mentioned in the article?

Answer: The two worrying trends is that young drug peddlers as young as 14 and woman are caught peddling drugs in Singapore and overseas. Drug dealers are making use of Singaporeans to traffic drugs from overseas to Singapore.

b) Why are Singaporeans increasingly being used as "drug mules"?

Answer: The reason is when Singaporeans travel they do not need visa for many countries and less likely to be checked as Singapore has a reputation of being tough on drugs.

2) What will you do if you find out that one of your friends is selling drugs? How will you react if someone tries to sell you drugs

Answer: If i know my friends are selling drugs, i would first inform the teachers and let them handle this. I wouldn't take the initiative to call the police as they might face harsh sentence which would ruin their lives just because of a moment of folly. I would say no and turn my back on the peddler, giving excuses for not buying and even trying. Putting them down and ignoring.

Consequence of drug trafficking

* For adult is hanging
* teens is caning and jailed up to 15 years
* for girl is jailed for up to 15 year
* bad company as drug trafficking need to mix with the gangster or drug abuser
* control by the leader as a drug mulers
* take up drug too
* bad for health

Question 1(ii ): Why is cheerleading a tough sport.

Answer: Its tough as one has to be enthusiastic always maintaining a smile. The moves of cheerleading is also complicated, coordination is also very important in cheerleading which makes it a tough sport. The Cheer Leaders have to train day and night for their performance only those with commitment will last. Stamina is also a criteria to the sport.

2)What is your opinion of cheerleaders? If given a chance, would you join cheer leading? Why/ why not?

Answer : What i think of cheer leaders is maybe a entertainer or the encourager whom cheer their teams on regardless win or lose. Encouraging the players to carry on and end the match or game. If given a chance i wouldn't join cheer leading. For myself i'm not good at doing moves or mini stun or even shouting cheers or encouraging i believe others have greater prospect in this than me as i do not have the potential in cheer leading.

Answer: If i were a part of a conjoined twin i would rather stay together with my twin for the rest of my life. I do not wish to go through any risks and die or any more mishap to happen to me. Although staying with a twin might arose other's different eye's side looking towards you but one must accept that and move on with life. I would wait till medical science is very advance and the risks is lower then i will move on to proceed with the operation. Or i will wait for others who's is unfortunate as us to go through the operation and see how it is before deciding one for myself and my twin.
